Here’s how to secretly build a coin stash on the House of Fun casino app so you won’t run out of play time.
Don’t worry – this isn’t some sort of strange hack.
There’s a particular slot machine in their lineup that I use to hide coins from myself.
If I get carried away and spend all of my virtual coins but still want to play I know I can always go to this one slot machine and try to pull from this hidden bundle.
There are a couple of rules you have to follow to make this work (and, of course, there’s no guarantee this will work the same for everyone):
- Have Hot Hot Vegas unlocked
- Have at least 50,000 coins on hand
There’s a neat feature in this particular slot that helps you out every time you spin the reels and lose.
That’s right, I said lose.
Every 5 of a kind has a progressive jackpot assigned to it and every spin you make adds causes the amount to go up.
As you spin it’s like some of your coins are getting stashed in that progressive – like a bank account.
These progressive amounts keep growing until you hit one of them. You can leave that slot, close the app, come back later and the progressives are still elevated.
Each one only resets after it has been hit.
Even the most basic of payouts – 5 cherries – will earn you a jackpot.
Outside of the free spin bonus wilds don’t count in landing the 5 of a kind of but they do in the bonus. That can make it even easier to hit one.
The following image shows the progressive amounts for each set of symbols before I make a spin.

After I make one spin of 6,000 coins the amounts have grown. See how the progressive for red 7s was 200,603 and now it’s 200,643?

When I’m flush with coins I make sure to go into that slot and play only to boost up those amounts.
Then, if I’ve not done well playing other slots (or I got carried away and bet too high) and I’m running low I go into that slot and play the minimum bet.
Eventually, the chances are good that I’ll hit one of those jackpots and it will help to replenish my coins.
The progressive amounts are also based on the amount of your bet.
At my minimum bet here are the amounts (I’m at level 600 so my minimum for this slot is 6,000 – yours may be different).

Without spinning at all and just increasing my bet from 6,000 to 30,000 you can see the prize amounts are higher. The payout for 5 cherries went from 10,209 coins to 34,209.

Here’s my progressive for hitting the olives on the minimum bet.

Obviously, being able to bet a higher amount would earn a higher progressive but if you’re low on coins and you’ve stashed some in those jackpots then even playing the minimum gives you a chance to hit several in one session – maybe even one of the 7s progressives which I’ve hit plenty of times.
That’s the goal anyway – get enough out of your hidden pot there to keep playing without having to buy any more. Then you can go back to playing whatever favorite slot you have on the app.
