I’ve been blogging since 2010 but I’ve loved playing slot machines for far longer. It started when my then boyfriend (now husband) dragged me at a run to a Triple Cherry machine in Vegas during the first trip we took together.
We didn’t win a lot but we had so much fun that we went back there to get married and made annual trips every year.
And then something really cool happened!

Then came Google Play and the App store and the number of social casinos you could join has exploded ever since.
Sometime around 2009 we started playing a mobile app that had something to do with apples and poker (not Apple iOS’s game) and that was even better because you could join teams and chat with the other players.
In between rounds of racing through poker hands you’d back out of the screen to collect apples. (Probably sounds odd today but it was a blast at the time!)
One of the best parts, though, was the friends we made within our team – people from around the world. Being part of an online team of strangers is like adding another dimension to your life..
Today, there are so many more free casino apps to choose from that it’s mind-boggling.
It’s also become more frustrating.
Some throw ads at you like you’re nothing but a set of eyeballs. Spin once, watch an ad, spin once, watch an ad. Ack!
(I can tell when hubby is testing out a new casino app because he starts swearing under his breath.)
Some are better set up for long-term play like Jackpot Party (where I’m a level 796).
It’s safe to say we’ve tested hundreds and we’re always looking for the ones that provide the most enjoyment.
That’s really why I built this site. I’ve combined my passion for blogging and my pleasure for wasting a few hours on free casino apps.
